Protection Racket 47"x16"x10" Hardware Bag

Protection Racket's 47&rdash;inch hardware bag represents the top tier of their hardware transport range, engineered for drummers running complex setups on the road. The coffin–style opening and internal straps keep cymbal stands, hi–hat hardware, pedals, and snare mechanisms secure during transit, whilst the wide 16&rdash;inch depth accommodates most rack systems without cramping larger assemblies.

At 47” × 16” × 10” internal dimensions, this bag swallows full seven–piece kits including bass drum pedals and even dual–pedal setups, a capacity few hardware cases match. Racketex lining throughout provides impact protection without the brittleness of foam, and dual webbing handles positioned at either end distribute weight evenly, making single–lift loading into a vehicle feasible. The wide–profile design means hardware sits flat rather than stacked vertically, reducing pressure on fragile stands and boom arms during transport.

Touring musicians and session players often pair two smaller 28–inch bags to halve individual load weight, though this larger format suits operators with substantial cymbal trees, multiple snare stands, and percussion hardware that demands consolidated, protected storage. Venues and hired–gun departments favour the 47&rdash;inch because it eliminates the fumble of managing multiple cases mid–setup.
