Protection Racket 26x10" Marching Bass Drum Case

Protection Racket's 26" × 10" marching bass drum case combines professional–grade protection with lightweight portability, engineered to the same specifications as the brand's pro–line touring cases. Built with Propadd P2 semi–rigid foam, the case maintains structural integrity when open and unloaded, enabling smooth drum entry and exit without collapse. Pro grip side handles facilitate two–person lifts and single–handed transport across parade grounds, rehearsal spaces, and venues.

Internal dimensions measure 28" × 17½", accommodating the 26" shell diameter plus hardware fixtures with clearance. The case weighs under 3.5 kilograms, making it one of the lightest options in marching percussion protection without sacrificing rigidity or impact absorption. Propadd P2 foam construction resists crushing and provides consistent cushioning across multiple seasons of use, critical for drums facing frequent handling and temperature fluctuations inherent to outdoor marching scenarios.

This case suits college and high–school marching ensembles, DCI–level programs, and community bands fielding bass drums in the mid–range diameter spectrum. The semi–rigid design appeals to players who prioritise quick gear transitions between rehearsal and performance, where traditional hard cases prove cumbersome but soft cases fail to protect against dents and bearing edge damage during transport.
