Protection Racket 24x22" Bass Drum Case

Protection Racket's 24 × 22" bass drum case (model 2224-00) applies the same semi-rigid construction philosophy as the brand's entire lineup. Built with Propadd P2 foam, the case resists collapse when open and empty – a practical advantage for quick setup and teardown at gigs. Weighing under 3.5 kilos, it prioritises portability without sacrificing structural integrity, making it equally suited to studio sessions and touring environments.

Internal dimensions of 27½" × 25½" provide adequate clearance for 24" × 22" shell hardware, lugs, and tension rods. The semi-rigid Propadd P2 foam construction resists impact and abrasion during transport while remaining light enough for single-handed carrying. This design choice allows drummers to inspect the drum during transit without fully removing it – the case holds its shape whether loaded or empty, unlike soft cases that collapse and restrict visibility.
