Protection Racket 22x2.5" Frame Drum Case

Protection Racket's 22×2.5" frame drum case applies the same rigorous engineering found in the manufacturer's professional line touring cases. The unit accommodates frame drums up to 22 inches in diameter whilst remaining compact and portable. Internal dimensions of 23" × 3" provide clearance for hardware fixtures, ensuring your instrument sits securely without binding. Propile foam lining delivers impact absorption across the entire interior, critical for protecting bearing edges and shell finish during transport and storage.

The case ships with a fully adjustable, removable padded shoulder strap featuring non-slip gripping to prevent shoulder wear during longer carries. The rigid exterior shell protects against puncture and crush damage in loaded vehicles or venue storage. Designed for working musicians rather than casual users, this case handles the cumulative stress of touring – rehearsal space drops, van loading, and airport baggage handling. The 22" sizing fits standard bodhráns, tar drums, and larger frame designs used across world music and percussion programmes.
