Protection Racket 15x6.5" Free Floating Snare Case

Protection Racket's 15" × 6.5" free floater snare case represents a purpose–built transport solution designed to accommodate larger diameter snare drums without the rigid internal constraint of standard designs. The free floating system decouples the shell from case walls, reducing vibration transfer and allowing natural sustain to remain undamped during storage and transit. Internal dimensions of 18" × 7.5" provide clearance for hardware, lugs, and bearing edge geometry across a range of contemporary snare configurations.

This catalogue reference 3005–00 case ships standard with a carrying handle for one–handed transport, whilst the rigid construction employs durable materials engineered to withstand professional touring schedules and frequent venue changes. The 6.5" depth specification sits at the intermediate range of Protection Racket's 12–size lineup, making it suitable for both vintage–depth shells and modern configurations that favour shallower proportions. The free floating design principle isolates the drum mechanically, preserving tone quality and eliminating case–induced dampening that standard cases can introduce.
