Protection Racket 14x10" Egg Shaped Standard Tom Case

Protection Racket's 14” × 10” egg–shaped tom case delivers precision fit protection for floor and rack toms across small– to medium–venue touring and studio work. The egg design—available across 16 sizes from 8” to 16”—maximises packing efficiency while accommodating suspension mounts, lugs, and tension rods without compromise. A redesigned labelling system now clearly marks drum type and dimensions, significantly reducing misidentification during load–ins and multikit transport.

Internal dimensions of 17” × 16” × 11” provide ample clearance around the shell hardware, with contoured geometry that stabilises the drum during transit. The silicone label identifies this unit as a 14” × 10” tom case, improving speed during setup and teardown. Rigid construction protects against impacts common in van storage and airport baggage handling, whilst the tapered profile fits efficiently into drum flight cases and tour racks without wasted space.

Consistency across Protection Racket's catalogue means players rotating toms or expanding kits can match cases by visual recognition and catalogue number (model 5014–10). The standardised egg shape accommodates both standard and fast tom profiles, making this case suitable whether transporting a single tom or integrating it into a larger protective ecosystem.
