Protection Racket 14" x 5.5" Nutcase Snare Drum Case

Protection Racket's 14” × 5.5” Nutcase snare drum case combines lightweight construction with genuine impact protection, sitting at the accessible end of the market without compromising durability. Built around a philosophy refined in Protection Racket's professional Proline range, the Nutcase delivers ruggedised materials and thoughtful engineering at an entry–to–intermediate price point.

The case features a 20mm dense foam core for shock absorption, wrapped in abrasion–resistant outer fabric that resists stretching and shrinking. Internal dimensions measure 17” × 6½”, accommodating snare hardware and fittings. A 210–denier nylon lining guards against rips and tears, while brushed steel zipper pulls and ergonomic handles ensure long–term usability. The egg–shaped profile allows clearance for snare mechanisms and suspended isolation mounting systems.

The combination of materials–fabric selection, foam density, and internal lining–represents a genuine step above typical entry–level cases. Road–tested construction makes this suitable for both stationary studio use and regular gigging, whether transporting to rehearsal spaces or touring regionally.
