Protection Racket 14" Bodhran Case

Protection Racket's 14" Bodhran Case (catalogue no. 9119-00) represents purpose-built transport engineering for frame drums. The case prioritises durability through Racketex waterproof outer material and double-stitched construction throughout, addressing the bodhran's sensitivity to moisture and temperature fluctuations. Internal dimensions of 16" × 16" × 5" accommodate hardware fixtures whilst maintaining a compact footprint for touring musicians.

Fleece lining cushions the instrument and facilitates skin acclimatisation during transit, preventing abrupt environmental shock. The case ships with multiple carry solutions: padded backpack straps, a shoulder strap option, reinforced handle, and integrated hang hook. A multi-tipper holder recesses into the lid and deploys onstage as a rapid-access rack for mallets and brushes—a practical feature eliminating fumbling mid-performance. Construction priorities reflect professional-level durability rather than budget compromises.
