The Promark Performer Series PST5 Ultra Staccato Maple Timpani Mallet stands as the hardest option in its collection, specifically engineered for musicians who prioritise sharp articulation over tonal warmth in their timpani performance. This professional‐grade mallet features a maple handle that provides excellent forward balance, making it ideal for precise playing techniques.
The mallet head showcases professional quality felt wrapping that creates a consistent playing surface, while the seamless parachute style wrap guarantees uniform contact across the entire head. This construction ensures reliable performance and consistent sound production during demanding musical passages.
All ProMark drumsticks and mallets, including this model, are designed and manufactured in the USA according to the industry’s highest quality standards. This commitment to American craftsmanship ensures musicians receive instruments built to withstand professional use while maintaining consistent performance characteristics.
