The ProMark Jazz Telescopic Wire Brush is a retractable wire brush designed for traditional jazz drumming and low–volume acoustic playing. Built in ProMark's Texas facility, this brush features light gauge steel bristles that produce delicate cymbal swells and snare textures without the harshness of heavier wire models. The telescopic design retracts fully into the handle for protection and portability, extending to a working length of 12 5/16" when deployed.
The handle measures .500" in diameter and is wrapped in smooth rubber for secure grip even during extended playing sessions. Light gauge steel bristles deliver quick response and clarity across cymbals and drum heads, making this brush responsive enough for fast jazz comping patterns and intricate brush technique. The retractable mechanism locks bristles at full extension, preventing unwanted collapse mid–performance. Manufactured entirely in the United States, the brush adheres to ProMark's production standards for consistency and durability.
