PreSonus EarMix 16M 16x2 AVB Networked Personal Monitor Mixer

Professional monitoring just got a serious upgrade with the PreSonus® EarMix™ 16M personal monitor mixer, engineered specifically for the StudioLive® Series III family while maintaining compatibility with other AVB-enabled systems. This networked monitoring solution brings high-quality audio to stage performances, installed sound systems, and studio recording environments. The unit accepts 16 mono channels of input via AVB networking, and multiple EarMix 16M units can be networked together with a StudioLive Series III mixer for comprehensive monitoring coverage.

Sound quality remains paramount with the EarMix 16M’s professional-grade headphone amplifier, capable of driving low-impedance devices including professional in-ear monitors. PreSonus has incorporated a premium digital-to-analogue converter for optimal dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio, while the carefully designed amplifier works seamlessly across various impedance ranges. Musicians can customise controls and inputs on each unit to create personalised monitor mixes, with the ability to store and recall up to 16 mix scenes in internal memory.

Power and connectivity options provide maximum flexibility, with the included external power supply or Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability for challenging installation scenarios. PoE technology allows a single Ethernet cable to carry both network data and electrical power, eliminating the need for local power sources. The PreSonus SW5E five-port AVB switch supports multiple EarMix 16M connections while providing PoE functionality. Dual AVB jacks enable daisy-chaining of multiple units, and setup is streamlined through networked StudioLive Series III consoles or the free UC Surface control software across Mac, Windows, iPad, and Android platforms.
