The PreSonus NSB 16.8 stage box brings professional AVB networking to your live sound setup, connecting stage to mixer through a single lightweight Ethernet cable instead of heavy copper snakes. This 16-in, 8-out unit works seamlessly with PreSonus® StudioLive® Series III console/recorders, offering remote control of inputs, preamps, and phantom power from your networked console or the free PreSonus UC Surface touch-control software.

Built for serious connectivity, the NSB 16.8 provides 16 locking combo mic/line inputs with PreSonus's renowned remote-controlled, Class A solid-state XMAX preamps, plus gain compensation for shared input scenarios. All eight outputs feature locking XLR jacks, while the built-in 2-port AVB switch allows daisy-chaining of multiple units for larger shows and installations.

AVB networking goes beyond simple digital snake functionality, routing audio over long distances using CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable with extremely low latency. The protocol provides high-precision clocking that significantly reduces harmonic distortion and phasing, while guaranteeing sufficient bandwidth for low latency audio transmission regardless of other network activity.

Constructed in a rugged steel chassis with sturdy handles, the NSB 16.8 handles the demands of extended touring while maintaining the classic stage box form factor. The unit sits securely on stage or can be rack mounted with optional rack-ear kit, and remains compatible with stage pockets from Ace Backstage.
