Positive Grid's REACTOR 50 is a 50–watt combo amplifier built on Amp Intelligence, a tone engine trained on over one million recordings across 200+ classic amp circuits. Rather than simple digital recreation, this system decodes transformer response, gain staging, bias behaviour, and harmonic character at the component level. The result feels and responds like real tube gear, tracking dynamics and responsiveness in ways modelled amps typically miss.
Three wattage settings (50W, 25W, 1W) preserve tone density at low volumes for home recording or rehearsal spaces. The Creator Hub generates tone chains from text descriptions, photographs, or reference audio—upload a pedalboard picture or sample track and the amp builds a starting point. Fine–tune via the REACTOR app with eight simultaneous effects (gate, compressor, drive, modulation, delay, reverb, wah, EQ), eight onboard presets, or unlimited cloud storage. Connectivity spans USB–C direct recording, Bluetooth audio, MIDI input, effects loop, line out, headphone out, and power amp input. A custom–voiced 12" speaker sits in a wood cabinet, with Push/Smooth and Heat controls for on–stage adjustment.
Access ToneCloud to explore community presets, download new amp models, or share your own settings. Wi–Fi enables over–the–air firmware updates. REACTOR Control footswitch support (purchased separately) brings hands–free switching and parameter control during performances.
