Pioneer VM70 6.5" Active Studio Monitors (Pair)

The VM-70 active monitor redefines studio precision with its punchy, fast-attacking bass and room-tunable audio characteristics that adapt seamlessly from club-style DJ setups to flat-response studio production environments. Built around a Class D amplifier featuring 96 kHz sampling DSP, this speaker achieves wide-bandwidth audio reproduction with exceptional efficiency, resulting in minimal distortion and high-energy output that stays true to your original source material.

At the heart of the VM-70’s impressive low-end performance are newly developed Aramid fibre woofer cones that are 30 percent lighter than conventional paper-lined alternatives, providing outstanding punch across bass and low-mid frequencies with enhanced strength and deeper sound reproduction. The innovative Vortex Bass Accelerator works in tandem with ribbed bass reflex ports to ensure tight, vibration-free low-end audio through optimised airflow design.

Mid and high-frequency reproduction benefits from the constant directivity horn design, which creates a broad, uniform listening space while the specially shaped horn and woofer edge facilitate smooth crossover transitions for natural sound reproduction. The hexagonal aluminium front baffle not only provides a distinctive professional aesthetic that complements Pioneer DJ equipment but also significantly reduces unwanted vibrations and distortion, while the protective tweeter guard safeguards the high-frequency diaphragm from damage.

Fine-tuning your sound is straightforward with the rear panel’s dual EQ knobs for Low and High frequencies, each offering 4 clickable positions that combine to provide 16 different EQ settings. This DSP-powered adjustment system allows you to optimise the VM-70’s naturally flat voicing for your specific room characteristics, ensuring optimal performance regardless of your space’s shape, size, or construction.
