Pearl S1330B Piccolo Steel Snare Drum 13 x 3 inch - Black

For over twenty years, drummers have simply called it "The Black Piccolo" – and that reputation speaks volumes about this legendary S1330 Effect Snare Drum. This 13 x 3 inch steel snare has earned widespread acceptance as THE essential piccolo snare sound, trusted by musicians from student level right through to seasoned professionals who demand that distinctive tonal bite and groove–centred liveliness in their setups.

The rolled steel shell construction produces an open, cracking "snap" sound that cuts through any mix with remarkable clarity. This makes it absolutely essential for accents and extra voice effects, ensuring you'll never get lost in the mix regardless of how loud your surroundings become. The steel shell design provides both all–weather durability and impressive projection that stands up to demanding performance conditions.

Built with an 8–lug design and quality 1.6mm hoops, this piccolo snare works brilliantly as either your main snare or as an effective second "effects" snare. The 3–inch depth combined with the 13–inch width creates the perfect dimensions for that head–turning sound that has made this drum a studio and stage favourite across the globe.
