This commemorative instrument represents three–quarters of a century of drum craftsmanship from The World's Largest Drum Company, reviving the warm subtlety of Pearl's original tone wood for a traditionally full, controlled playing experience.

Built with a 6–ply Lauan Mahogany shell featuring 45–degree bearing edges, this snare drum combines classic aesthetics with contemporary performance. The original "Battleship" lug design has been recast for modern reliability, while adjustable tone mufflers provide sonic variety from subdued to bombastic. Each drum showcases Pearl's elegant script badge and classic logo, beautifully complemented by the swirling flash of the new Ripple covered finish.

Professional appointments include Pearl Superhoop 2 2.3mm Triple Flange hoops, 8 Battleship lugs, Pearl SR017 throw–off, and Pearl SN–1420I 20–strand snare wires. The drum comes fitted with a Pearl logo Controlled Sound Clear drumhead by Remo and features chrome hardware throughout.
