Designed to cut through the densest mixes, the PDP The Kraken snare delivers an aggressive, high‐impact sound in a compact and explosive format. Built around a 1 mm rolled chrome‐over‐steel shell, this 13" x 3.5" snare produces a sharp, penetrating attack with exceptional clarity and bite.
High‐end DW appointments elevate performance and reliability, including a DW MAG throw‐off for smooth, precise snare engagement and True‐Pitch tuning rods for accurate, stable tuning. Dual‐turret lugs provide even tension across the head, while factory‐fitted Remo heads ensure consistent response straight out of the box.
Equipped with a sleek side‐lever throw‐off, the Kraken allows quick and precise snare engagement, while DW True‐Pitch tuning rods offer accurate, stable tuning.
Finished with a factory‐fitted Remo head, this snare is ready to deliver immediate impact across modern genres including metal, punk, EDM and sample‐heavy setups.
