PDP Concept Classic 24" 3-Pce Shell Pack (Walnut Stain with Natural Hoops)

The PDP Concept Classic Series merges contemporary drum engineering with period aesthetics, delivered by Drum Center Percussion to bridge the gap between vintage character and modern playability. Constructed from 6– and 7–ply European Maple shells with matching Maple counter hoops, these drums produce a punchy attack and warm tonality suited to rock and alternative players seeking definition without sacrificing resonance. The three–piece configuration pairs a 14×24″ bass drum with 9×13″ tom and 16×16″ floor tom.

Tuning precision sets this pack apart: True–Pitch rods deliver 30 threads per square inch—20% denser than conventional designs—enabling granular tension control across the shell. Dual–turret lugs distribute force evenly and reduce shell stress, while the 45–degree bearing edge promotes clarity and sustain. Vintage–style claw hooks and matching bass drum hoops maintain visual coherence without compromising modern hardware robustness. Remo drum heads come pre–installed, enabling immediate setup and play.

This shell pack suits players transitioning from entry–level kits or those consolidating a hybrid setup where tonal warmth and projection matter equally. The Walnut Stain finish with Natural Hoops emphasises the Maple grain, appealing to performers balancing studio and live contexts. Snare, cymbals, and mounting hardware sold separately.
