PRS DGT 15 Amplifier (15 Watt)

David Grissom's collaboration with PRS has produced an amplifier that captures the soul of vintage tube amps while meeting the demands of contemporary players. The DGT 15 builds upon the foundation established by the DG Custom 30 over a decade ago, with Doug Sewell and PRS meticulously refining the design to maintain the original's DNA whilst introducing thoughtful updates. This 15-watt single-channel amplifier rivals Grissom's favourite vintage amps, offering rich character that feels alive under your fingers.

From sparkling clean tones to heavy overdrive, the DGT 15 transcends the typical limitations of single-channel amplifiers through its intuitive design and comprehensive tone-sculpting capabilities. The amp features a 3-band TMB (treble, middle, bass) tone stack alongside a 3-position bright switch, boost, reverb, top cut, and presence controls on the front panel. What sets this amplifier apart is the intelligent interaction between these controls – the bright switch can operate in three modes including automatic disengagement when boost is active, whilst the Master Volume can be configured to work independently or only with the Boost function.

The tremolo circuit employs old-school power tube bias oscillation with dedicated speed and depth controls, and the included 3-button footswitch provides convenient control over boost, reverb, and tremolo functions. These carefully considered features combine to create an amplifier that offers the magic of smaller-wattage vintage tube amps whilst remaining fully applicable in modern musical contexts, allowing players to find their sound and shape their tone with remarkable precision.
