Paiste PST8 Reflector 20inch Medium Ride

Forged from the legendary 2002 bronze and finished with traditional hand hammering techniques, the Paiste PST8 Reflector 20" Medium Ride stands as a testament to Swiss cymbal craftsmanship. This medium–weight ride cymbal features the distinctive handmade Reflector finish that sets it apart from conventional cymbals in both appearance and sonic character.

The 20" diameter provides a balanced platform that produces medium to fairly loud volumes with pronounced, well–balanced stick definition. Its fairly lively intensity combines with medium–long sustain to create a versatile voice that adapts to various musical contexts, while the separated bell character adds distinct tonal options for accents and patterns.

Sonically, this ride cymbal offers a bright, full and warm character with exceptional clarity in the medium frequency range and clean mix properties. The balanced feel under the sticks makes it comfortable for extended playing, while the clear ping cuts through with a clean, shimmering wash that complements rather than competes with other instruments. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of musical styles and playing situations.
