Crafted from the legendary "602 Bronze" (CuSn20) and handcrafted from start to finish by highly skilled Swiss craftsmen, the Formula 602 Classic Sounds cymbals produce exceptionally true, pure sound with unique clarity and consistency. At 20" with an extra thin weight profile, this cymbal offers soft to medium loud volume capabilities with a distinctly washy stick sound, fairly lively intensity and medium sustain characteristics.
The sound character presents as warm, silvery and airy with a mystical quality that captivates listeners. Featuring a medium wide range and fairly complex mix, the cymbal provides a very soft, papery feel that responds beautifully to the lightest touch. This graceful crash cymbal excels with delicate, sensitive playing using light sticks, brushes, rods and hands, making it particularly well–suited for mallet rolls and nuanced musical expressions.
