The legendary Paiste 602 15" Sound Edge Hi–Hat Pair stands as one of history's most revered cymbal lines, earning its reputation through decades of professional use worldwide. These cymbals are renowned for their fine, pure, soft and delicate musical tone that demands precise playing technique. Originally reintroduced in 2011, these models have been faithfully recreated to match both the sound and appearance of the originals.

Crafted from the legendary "602 Bronze" (CuSn20) alloy, each cymbal is handcrafted from start to finish by highly skilled Swiss craftsmen. The Formula 602 Classic Sounds series produces a true, pure sound characterised by unique clarity and consistency. At 15" with medium weight top and bottom cymbals, they offer medium low to medium loud volume capabilities with a soft, fairly dry stick sound.

The sound character is rich, silvery and bright with somewhat mellow qualities, featuring a wide range and fairly complex mix. These hi–hats provide quick and responsive feel with a soft, warm touch that remains highly controllable. The open sound is full, round and energetic, while the chick sound is airy, light and papery.
