Paiste 18 Inch PST X Swiss Medium Crash Drum Cymbal

Stand out from the crowd with the distinctive sound of the Paiste 18 Inch PST X Swiss Medium Crash Drum Cymbal, featuring an unconventional Swiss cheese–like design that creates an exotic and decidedly light yet surprisingly powerful effect. This highly responsive cymbal produces warm, fluttering tones with just the right amount of tinniness, making it perfect for precise accents when your music demands an extraordinarily explosive sound. The unorthodox layout adds delightful trashiness to your playing, guaranteed to inject personality into your drum performances.

What truly sets this crash cymbal apart is its silky surface combined with the unique perforated design that creates an unmistakable sonic character. The 18–inch diameter provides excellent projection while maintaining the distinctive tonal qualities that make the PST X Swiss series so sought after by drummers looking for something different from the standard crash cymbal offerings.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Paiste has been meeting the creative needs of drummers and percussionists since the beginning of the 20th Century with innovative cymbals, gongs, and bronze percussion instruments. The company lays claim to numerous cymbal firsts, including the first use of 8% bronze, the wavy–edged hi–hat bottom cymbal, the bell–less flat ride, unlathed hammered cymbals, colour–coated cymbals, China cymbals with a downturned edge, and the invention of their 2002 Bronze Alloy. World–class drummers such as Bill Bruford, Stewart Copeland, and Vinnie Colaiuta have long relied on Paiste cymbals to forge their signature sounds.
