The Paiste 18" 2002 Wild Crash Cymbal brings legendary rock heritage into modern aggressive drumming with its distinctive hissing, roaring, and metallic character. This cymbal offers a shimmering presence with a narrow range and fairly complex mix that responds beautifully to dynamic playing styles.

Built for louder musical applications, this sturdy crash cymbal produces a strong, piercing attack followed by a growling decay that cuts through dense mixes. The balanced feel makes it especially controllable during crash/riding techniques, giving drummers versatility across aggressive playing styles.

The 2002 series represents the foundation of classic cymbal craftsmanship that has defined the sound of generations since rock’s early days. Today’s 2002 Wild Crash expands on this legendary heritage with modern sounds crafted for progressive popular music, making it an essential tool for contemporary drummers seeking both power and control.
