Born from the raw rebellion of late 1970s punk and metal, the Paiste 16 Inch Rude Thin Crash Cymbal brings that unmistakable attitude to your kit with breathy layers of sound and explosive attack. Crafted from CuSn8 Bronze (also known as "2002 Bronze"), this cymbal maintains its position as the leading choice for musicians seeking raw and powerful musical energy across Rock, Metal and Punk genres.

The sound character is full, dark and energetic, featuring a brilliant broad sparkle beneath its overall cutting presence. With very flexible response and a wide range, this cymbal offers a fairly complex mix that's both responsive and shattering in attack. The distinctive RUDE attitude shines through with breathy sound layers that cut through any mix.

Designed for medium loud to extremely loud applications, this 16" Rude Thin Crash excels in both live and recording environments. It's perfectly suited for Punk, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Rock/Metal Crossover Styles and their derivatives, as well as contemporary styles rooted in or similar to these genres.
