Paiste 10 Inch PST 5 Splash Cymbal

The Paiste 10 Inch PST 5 Splash Cymbal brings explosive accents and lightning–fast response to drummers seeking that perfect bright splash sound. This remarkably thin cymbal offers a quick, warm tone with a narrow range and clean mix, making it ideal for light accents across numerous musical styles. The PST5 series represents a fusion of Swiss cymbal sound know–how and German hi–tech expertise, providing first–class manufactured cymbals with high quality sound design at an affordable price point.

Since its introduction in 2005, the PST5 has remained a best seller, recently redesigned by Paiste’s Swiss Sound Development Team to meet current musical trends. The cymbals are now lighter, resulting in a deeper, warmer sound while preserving their bright basic character. This increased flexibility creates a more appealing feel and makes the new PST5 significantly more musical overall.

Crafted from CuSn8 Bronze, also known as “2002 Bronze”, this splash cymbal suits all volume settings and live playing situations. The PST5 serves as the entry point to Paiste’s world of bronze cymbals, offering explosive, fast–fading splash sounds that work brilliantly across the entire range of music styles from jazz and funk to rock and heavy metal.
