The Novation Summit stands as a powerhouse dual-engine synthesiser that combines the best of digital oscillator technology with genuine analogue filtering and distortion. This flagship 61-key instrument features 16-voice polyphony across two independent parts, powered by digital New Oxford Oscillators that handle subtractive, FM and wavetable synthesis with remarkable versatility. The multitimbral engine allows you to merge and layer two complete patches, creating rich harmonic textures perfect for complex pads, leads, basses and arpeggiated sequences.

Built upon Peak’s proven architecture, Summit doubles the voice count and adds extensive hands-on control with additional front panel parameters for FM synthesis, effects, LFOs and more. The dual analogue multimode filters offer six different LP/HP/BP combinations, while three stages of analogue distortion – pre-filter, post-filter, and post-VCA – provide the warmth and character that traces back to legendary instruments like the OSCar and Bass Station II. Audio input capabilities allow external sources to be processed through the onboard effects chain.

The included Wavetable Editor software unlocks the full potential of the wavetable oscillators, enabling real-time waveform design and editing. Novation has curated an inspiring collection of space-themed audio from NASA’s sound library alongside exclusive wavetable presets from electronic music producers Noisia. With onboard reverb, chorus and delay effects hosted on the FPGA, plus auxiliary audio outputs for expanded routing options, Summit provides serious producers and performers with comprehensive sound design capabilities.
