The SL MK3 represents a complete studio redesign, engineered to serve as your central command hub for both software and hardware instruments. Built in collaboration with Ableton®, this controller features Novation’s most refined semi–weighted keybed with sprung action and an exceptional 10kHz scan rate, delivering the responsiveness that experienced players demand. The five colour LCD screens provide comprehensive parameter feedback, while velocity–sensitive RGB pads offer multiple functions from clip launching to finger drumming with polyphonic aftertouch.

At its core lies an internal eight–track polyphonic pattern–based sequencer that bridges the gap between MIDI hardware and CV/Gate synthesisers. You can record step–by–step or capture real–time performances, with automation recording bringing dynamic movement to your productions. The built–in arpeggiator adds another creative dimension, allowing real–time rhythm design through the responsive pads while maintaining perfect sync across your entire setup.

Studio integration becomes effortless with comprehensive connectivity including USB, dual MIDI outputs, three pedal inputs, analogue clock output, and dual CV pitch/gate/mod outputs. The SL MK3 works seamlessly with any HUI–compatible DAW through InControl technology, while customisable mappings and templates can be created in the software editor and saved directly to the keyboard. RGB LED feedback provides instant visual confirmation across the keyboard, pads, and pitch/modulation wheels, with colour coding that reflects your current track selection and parameter values.
