The FLkey Mini Mk2 is a compact MIDI controller built specifically for FL Studio, officially supported by Image-Line to deliver integrated control over the DAW's mixer, instruments, and transport functions. This 25-key version measures 338.5 mm wide by 176.8 mm deep and weighs just 0.78 kg, combining synth-action mini-keys with 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads and eight endless encoders. The 128 x 64 monochrome OLED display provides visual feedback for patch names, parameter values, and mode selection during production sessions.

Connectivity includes USB-C bus power, 3.5 mm jack MIDI out, and a quarter-inch sustain pedal input, allowing the controller to drive hardware synthesisers alongside software instruments. The onboard arpeggiator features a step editor for rhythm programming, while Scale Mode offers 30 built-in scales to constrain note input. Three chord modes–Chord Map, Fixed Chord, and User Chord–enable single-key harmony triggers across the keybed. Custom DAW scripts require FL Studio version 21.0.3 or later, though HUI protocol support extends compatibility to other production environments when needed.

Two pad page buttons expand the 16-pad grid to 32 assignable zones, and two encoder page buttons double the control surface to 16 rotary parameters. Pitch bend and modulation touch strips sit above the keybed for real-time expression during performance and recording. Dedicated transport controls–Play/Stop and Record–eliminate mouse clicks during tracking. Channel Rack and Preset bank buttons provide direct navigation through FL Studio's instrument architecture, keeping focus on the controller rather than the screen during studio work.
