Neural DSP Quad Cortex Guitar Amp Modeller

The Quad Cortex stands as the most formidable floorboard amp modeller available today, powered by an impressive 6-core processing system that handles even the most demanding signal chains without hesitation. This extraordinary processing capacity allows musicians to run four amplifier models simultaneously alongside stereo reverbs and countless other effects, opening up limitless possibilities for sound design and tonal exploration.

At the heart of this revolutionary unit lies Neural Capture™ technology, featuring biomimetic AI that learns and replicates the sonic characteristics of any physical amplifier, overdrive, or cabinet with remarkable accuracy. Neural’s sophisticated neural network algorithm perceives sound in a way that mirrors human perception, creating the most natural-sounding capture solution available. Beyond the capture capabilities, the Quad Cortex comes fully loaded with over 90 amplifiers, 100+ effects, and 1000+ impulse responses, plus access to an ever-growing library of free rig captures from top producers and sound designers.

The unit’s massive 7″ multi-touch display makes navigation incredibly intuitive, allowing users to create complex signal paths with ease. The innovative stainless steel 2-in-1 rotary footswitches serve dual purposes as both encoders and switches, providing immediate access to amp controls while maintaining the reliability of traditional footswitches. Despite its powerful capabilities, the Quad Cortex maintains a compact format with comprehensive I/O options including combination TS/TRS/XLR inputs, dual effects loops, multiple output formats, MIDI connectivity, and dual expression pedal inputs.

OS UPDATE: CorOS 3.0.0 is now available, introducing the highly anticipated Plugin Compatibility (PCOM) feature along with various enhancements. All users should update to CorOS 3.0.0 after creating a backup and disconnecting Cortex Control 1.1.0. The update process takes 30-35 minutes via Settings > Device Options > Device Updates with a stable Wi-Fi connection, and includes compatibility with Archetype: Gojira X and Archetype: Plini X.
