Built upon the proven foundation of its predecessor, this monitor features an exceptionally linear frequency response from 44 Hz to 21 kHz (�3 dB) whilst simultaneously linearising phase response through sophisticated DSP-controlled electronics. The result is remarkably clear midrange reproduction with outstanding transparency and precise time-domain accuracy, including faithful impulse reproduction and finely detailed reverb resolution that analog crossovers simply cannot match.

Designed specifically for nearfield applications with an optimal listening distance of 1-2 metres, the KH 120 II suits smaller environments including home studios, project studios, mixing suites, and editing rooms perfectly. Its portable format and exceptional linearity make it equally valuable as a surround speaker in larger multichannel setups or for creating professional-quality temporary control rooms during location work. The integrated Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide ensures a wide sweet spot whilst minimising problematic desk reflections.

The monitor's internal DSP capabilities extend beyond basic processing to include room calibration through Neumann's revolutionary MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system (sold separately). This technology optimally adapts your DSP-powered monitors to your room's acoustic character and aligns them precisely for your listening position, providing significant improvements even in acoustically treated spaces. The KH 120 II AES67 variant adds integrated redundant AES67 audio network ports with full compliance to broadcast standards including ST 2110, ST 2022-7 redundancy, and RAVENNA, whilst maintaining compatibility with DANTE®-generated AES67 network streams.
