Nektar SE49 49-Key MIDI Controller

Capture your musical ideas the moment inspiration strikes with the Nektar SE49 USB MIDI controller keyboard, designed to bridge the gap between creativity and technology. This versatile 49-key controller features velocity-sensitive full-size keys with synth-action keybed that provides a defined and firm feel, perfect for both delicate piano passages and dynamic electronic performances. The SE49 offers four different velocity curves plus three fixed options, allowing you to customise the keyboard response to match your unique playing style and musical preferences.

Professional performance controls are built right in, including large pitch bend and modulation wheels with tight grip and optimal resistance for expressive playing. Four assignable buttons and a MIDI-assignable fader provide extensive control options, from octave shifting (-3/+4 octaves) and transposition (12 semitones) to MIDI channel switching and program changes. The multi-coloured LED indicators keep you informed of your current settings, while key combinations can activate MMC transport functions for direct control of start, stop, and record functions from the keyboard itself.

Setup couldn’t be simpler thanks to USB class compliance – no drivers required, just plug into your computer’s USB port and start playing. The SE49 also works with iOS devices using Apple’s USB camera connection kit, and includes a 1/4” input jack for sustain pedals or additional MIDI control. Your custom MIDI CC assignments and parameter mappings are automatically stored, so your personalised setup is ready to go each time you power up.

Complete your studio setup with the included Bitwig 8-Track DAW software, featuring over 50 professional instruments and effects for up to 8 audio or MIDI tracks. The package also includes the Bitwig Essentials collection of loops, clips and samples, plus full compatibility with third-party VST plug-ins, giving you everything needed to start producing professional-quality music straight out of the box.
