The Panorama T4 & T6 controllers bring professional–grade instrument plugin control directly to your fingertips in any VST/AU compatible DAW. These innovative controllers allow you to load patches straight from the keyboard and control parameters instantly, with every adjustment clearly displayed on the LED screen. You can control any instrument plugin using the extensive library of included maps, or create and customise your own mappings. The controllers also feature powerful performance tools including chord functions, hold capabilities, and note repeat options, with all parameter tweaks and repeat adjustments recordable directly in your DAW.
At the heart of these controllers lies the 2nd generation Panorama synth–action keybed, featuring careful dampening and balanced weighting across all keys with medium tension activation. Five velocity curves allow you to shift emphasis from soft to hard playing styles, while a fixed option lets you set velocity values using the control wheels. The standout feature is the AfterTouch strip, which responds to gentle pressure changes and allows dynamic control over tone and volume parameters during performance.
The 8 large velocity and pressure sensitive pads are specifically designed for finger drumming and beat creation, triggering at extremely low thresholds to capture subtle ghost notes and flams with precision. Each pad can be individually calibrated and assigned any MIDI note number or MIDI cc message. The intuitive Pad Learn function makes sound assignment simple – just activate the mode, select a pad, and play the desired note or drum sound on the keyboard. With the Pad Bank Button providing access to an additional 8 pads, you get 16 pads per map across 8 available pad maps.
Both models offer comprehensive DAW compatibility through Mackie® Control Universal (MCU) support, providing transport control, track selection, and basic mixer functions across most DAWs. The 6 LED transport buttons eliminate mouse dependency, while dedicated track navigation buttons sit conveniently below the display. For MIDI hardware control, the Control Edit menu allows programming of any control to send various MIDI messages including cc, RPN, NRPN, MMC, and note data, with 10 presets available for storing different control setups.
