The Kontrol series redefines what's possible with MIDI keyboard controllers, offering three distinct models that bridge the gap between digital and acoustic performance. Available in 49-key (S49), 61-key (S61), and 88-key (S88) configurations, each controller features industry-leading polyphonic aftertouch technology developed in partnership with Fatar. The S88 stands out as the world's first widely available controller to combine polyphonic aftertouch with fully weighted hammer-action keys, whilst the S49 and S61 models feature responsive semi-weighted keybeds.

Deep integration with Native Instruments' ecosystem delivers seamless control over virtual instruments through advanced NKS technology and Kontakt integration. The high-resolution colour display provides intuitive navigation through thousands of sounds, with intelligent auto-mapping that instantly understands parameter controls across NI instruments and partner libraries. This direct connection maintains creative flow without interrupting your workflow to adjust settings on screen.

Professional connectivity options include USB-C power and data transfer, traditional MIDI in/out ports, and four assignable TRS pedal inputs with dedicated sustain and expression defaults. The premium build quality showcases CNC-machined anodised aluminium construction, touch-sensitive encoders, RGB-illuminated pitch and mod wheels, and redesigned tactile button islands that form a continuous dustproof surface. Complete DAW integration allows full transport control and channel monitoring directly from the keyboard display.

Each Kontrol model includes comprehensive software bundles featuring Komplete 14 Select production suite, Komplete Kontrol organising software, and bonus applications including iZotope Elements Suite, Ableton Live Lite, and Guitar Rig 7 LE. The package also includes Hypha, a specialised Kontakt instrument with nature-inspired sounds designed to showcase polyphonic aftertouch capabilities straight out of the box.
