Komplete 26 Ultimate is Native Instruments' most comprehensive production toolkit, containing over 150 premium instruments and effects designed to handle every stage of music creation. This crossgrade edition gives existing NI users access to the full suite–from Kontakt 8 and Massive X through to Guitar Rig 7 Pro and the semi-modular Absynth 6. The centrepiece is its 100+ expansion sound packs covering everything from Italo Disco to cinematic soundscapes, all compatible with any DAW and integrated across NI's hardware ecosystem.

The Ultimate tier adds experimental sound design tools and recently released instruments: LCO Producer Strings sourced from the London Contemporary Orchestra, Cremona Quartet Ensemble for detailed string arrangements, Claire grand piano, and Erosia for cinematic texturing. Session Guitarist and Session Bassist lines provide authentic electric guitar and dual-pickup bass emulations. Mixing is handled by iZotope Elements suite including Ozone 12, Neutron 5, Nectar 4, bx_glue, and bx_Clipper. Native Access 2 handles activation and updates, whilst NKS integration works with Kontrol keyboards, Maschine, and third-party MIDI controllers.

The 100+ Expansions are built by leading artists and sound designers, providing synth presets, drum kits, one-shots, samples, and loops across all major genres. Reaktor 6, FM8, and Monark sit alongside newer scene-based instruments like Marco Polo Drums and Luxa, giving producers a balanced toolkit for traditional synthesis and contemporary production workflows.
