MXR M309 Joshua Ambient Echo Delay Guitar Pedal

Step into the sonic landscapes that defined generations with the MXR Joshua Ambient Echo, a pedal that captures the atmospheric essence of classic tracks from the '60s through to the ethereal ambience of the '80s. This comprehensive delay unit brings together meticulously tuned tones and textures in a modern, user-friendly format that's ready to go straight out of the box. What once required an entire rack processor is now available in a single pedal, offering that distinct tonal palette that has become the hallmark of countless iconic recordings.

At its core lies a highly customizable delay system that puts you in complete control of tempo, echo count, and rhythm patterns. The Division control offers six different subdivisions including note, dotted eighth note, eighth note, eighth note triplet, double delay with eighth note, and dotted eighth note options. The Trails function keeps your echoes flowing even after disengaging the pedal, while the Echo 2 switch introduces a secondary set of quarter-note echoes for added complexity. Both onboard tap tempo via the footswitch and external control through the CTR jack give you precise timing control, with the option to freeze delay lines at maximum feedback for creative layering.

The pedal's sonic refinement comes through intuitive controls that shape your atmospheric soundscape. The Mod control adds lush, chewy modulation to your delay signal, while the Voice control creates an angelic, organ-like quality through a custom blend of sub-octave and upper octave signals. This combination amplifies the pedal's inherent ethereal character for truly otherworldly results. With stereo capability, expression pedal support, and up to 12 adjustable parameters, the MXR Joshua Ambient Echo provides both immediate atmospheric brilliance and deep customization potential for those seeking to craft complex, personalized soundscapes.
