This powerhouse overdrive pedal harnesses hand-adjusted multi-stage MOSFETs alongside comprehensive controls to produce authentic tube-like saturation and hyper-driven tones that work brilliantly across different amplifiers and speaker configurations.

The pedal's control layout covers Eddie's complete sonic evolution, from his groundbreaking early classic sounds through to today's high-gain, super-articulate tones he's known for. Output and Gain knobs manage your volume and distortion levels, while the 3-band passive tone stack EQ section allows precise sound shaping to suit your preferences. The Boost switch engages additional gain and compression for those moments when you need extra punch.

Unwanted noise becomes a thing of the past thanks to the Gate control, which utilises MXR's Smart Gate® circuit technology. The EVH 5150 Overdrive includes true bypass switching with LED indicator and comes housed in a durable enclosure featuring custom EVH artwork. Running on 9 volts DC with a modest 4.7 mA current draw, this pedal brings exceptional sonic flexibility to both stage and studio applications.
