MusicNomad's Pro Strength Guitar Polish is a paste–formula restorative compound engineered to revive dulled and oxidised gloss finishes on guitars with nitrocellulose and polyurethane lacquer. The 120ml bottle delivers a silicone–free formulation that removes haze, scuffing and oxidation from both body surfaces and hardware including frets, pickups and bridge components. Abrasive compounds work deeper than maintenance cleaners, cutting through grime on finished maple fretboards and clouded armrest contact zones where nitro finishes commonly degrade. This polish addresses finish deterioration that standard wipes cannot touch.
The paste consistency requires minimal product – three to four peanut–sized applications per guitar side – and can be thinned with distilled water if required. Work proceeds in sections: apply, allow hazing, then buff with clean microfibre cloth. The abrasive action polishes out light scratches with repeated applications and elbow work, though deep gouges remain beyond chemical correction. Shelf life extends three years when stored at room temperature. Caution applies to gold–plated hardware, particularly thin plating from Korean, Chinese and Indonesian manufacturing; test inconspicuous areas first or avoid contact entirely. Heavier USA, German and Japanese plating tolerates the formula reliably. The 100% PET bottle offers full recyclability.
