MOOG Matriarch Patchable 4-Note Paraphonic Analog Synthesiser

The Moog Matriarch stands as a powerhouse of creative synthesis, offering immediate access to rich evolving chord patterns through its patchable 4-note paraphonic analog architecture. This semi-modular synthesizer requires no patching to get started, yet opens up endless sonic possibilities through 90 modular patch points that invite exploration and experimentation. Built around vintage Moog circuitry, the Matriarch serves as both a catalyst for musical ideas and a medium for multidimensional expression.

At its core, the Matriarch features four analog oscillators with selectable waveshapes and hard sync capabilities, dual analog ladder filters that can operate in parallel, stereo, or series modes, and dual ADSR envelopes for precise sound shaping. The expressive 49-note Fatar keyboard includes patchable velocity and aftertouch, while the comprehensive modulation section provides a full-range analog LFO with six waveshapes plus an additional simple LFO for enhanced movement.

The built-in sequencer offers 256 steps with up to four notes per step across 12 stored patterns, and can operate independently to sequence external gear. An arpeggiator with multiple modes complements the stereo analog delay, which provides up to 700ms of MIDI-syncable repeats in stereo or ping-pong configurations. Additional features include dual analog VCAs, three bipolar voltage controlled attenuators with ring modulation capability, and both 1/4" and 3.5mm outputs for maximum connectivity flexibility.
