The fast reed relay provides response times under 2 milliseconds, whilst the contacts handle up to 500 mA through a standard 1/4" mono phone jack connection.

Programming the Relay is straightforward using MIDI System Exclusive messages, which can be easily managed through the MIDI Solutions Programming Tools software. Your custom settings remain stored in memory even when power is disconnected, and you can reprogram the unit with new configurations whenever required. The device draws power directly from the MIDI connection, eliminating the need for batteries or external power supplies when used with most MIDI equipment.

A built-in MIDI indicator LED confirms the unit is receiving power and flashes to show MIDI data activity. When working with inductive loads, proper precautions should be taken to prevent back EMF issues.
