MIDI Solutions Programmable Input Selector

Switch between two MIDI sources instantly with the Programmable Input Selector, a clever routing device that puts complete control at your fingertips. This compact unit routes MIDI messages from either of its two inputs (InA or InB) to a single output, with the flexibility to pass all MIDI data or exclude Note messages as required. Switching between inputs is achieved through a footswitch connected to the 1/4" phone jack or by sending MIDI Program Change messages to InA.

Straight from the factory, the unit toggles between sending all MIDI messages from InA and all MIDI messages from InB. The programmable LED provides visual feedback with customisable flash patterns to indicate the current operational state. Programming is accomplished through MIDI System Exclusive messages, allowing you to tailor the device’s behaviour to your specific requirements.

Once configured, your settings remain stored permanently, even when power is disconnected. The unit can be reprogrammed as many times as needed to accommodate changing setups. Best of all, the Programmable Input Selector draws power directly from MIDI connections, eliminating the need for batteries or external power supplies when used with most MIDI equipment.
