The Pedal Controller brings professional-grade expression control to any MIDI setup by converting analogue pedal movements into precise continuous MIDI data. Compatible with popular expression pedals like the Yamaha FC7 and Roland EV-5, this inline device seamlessly integrates into your existing MIDI chain without requiring additional power supplies or batteries. Factory settings are optimised for immediate use, sending CC#7 (volume) on MIDI channel 1, so you can plug in and start playing straight away.

What sets this controller apart is its exceptional tracking accuracy and customisable response curves. Unlike many control wheels that update every two to four values, the Pedal Controller responds to single-value changes, providing smooth control without zipper noise. The variable curvature feature allows you to compensate for pedals with nonlinear responses or create custom response characteristics that suit your playing style.

Programming flexibility extends to multiple MIDI message types including Aftertouch, Pitch Bend, Control Change, and System Exclusive commands. The built-in MIDI Echo parameter can be toggled on or off, and all settings are retained permanently once programmed using MIDI Solutions Programming Tools software. A handy MIDI indicator LED confirms power status and flashes during data transmission, making it easy to monitor your setup’s operation.
