The M32R LIVE represents a bold fusion of classic British console heritage and cutting-edge digital innovation, setting a new benchmark for rack-mountable mixing consoles. This groundbreaking console marries legendary Midas sound quality with advanced digital technology, featuring a future-proof floating point audio engine, ultra-low latency design, and industry-leading 192 kHz ADC and DAC converters. The result is a revolutionary mid-format live console that redefines what’s possible in professional mixing.
Built with uncompromising attention to detail, the M32R LIVE showcases ultra-sleek styling and high-end construction materials including carbon fibre, providing exceptional durability and strength while maintaining significantly lower weight than comparable consoles. At its heart lie the award-winning Midas PRO Series microphone preamplifiers and custom-designed Midas PRO motorised faders, rated for an impressive 1 million life cycles—three times more than other leading consoles.
The renowned Midas mic preamp continues to be regarded by leading live sound and recording engineers as the very essence of the famous Midas sound. Drawing from more than 40 years of design expertise and premium-grade components, these preamps capture the acclaimed warmth and depth that brings out subtle ambience, maintains spatial positioning, and captures precise imaging. This legendary sound has inspired generations of live sound engineers worldwide, helping create sonic landscapes that captivate audiences.
The M32R LIVE Channel Strip consolidates the most critical channel processing parameters into one intuitive section, ensuring consistent control layout regardless of which channel you’re working on. This highly-efficient design stems from Midas’ decades of console development and valuable user feedback. Optimised control illumination provides clear indication of levels and status from any viewing angle, while illuminated rotary encoders and switches offer comprehensive control over preamp settings, frequency shelving, dual dynamics sections, multi-mode fully parametric EQ, bus sends, main, mono and stereo panning.
