Mesa Boogie's Rectifier Traditional Slant cabinet represents decades of refining high–gain tone architecture. This 4x12" enclosure houses four rear–mounted Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, chosen specifically to complement the aggressive midrange and tight low–end response that define modern heavy music. The slant configuration angles the top two speakers upward, projecting sound directly toward the player while maintaining maximum stage coverage. Marine–grade birch ply construction adds rigidity and weight, translating amp wattage into focused cone movement rather than cabinet flex.
Each Vintage 30 speaker delivers 60 watts, yielding 240 watts total power handling across the cabinet. The rear–mounted configuration moves speakers back from the front baffle, creating a slightly darker tonal character with reduced high–frequency bite compared to front–loaded designs. Dimensions measure 76.2cm wide, 76.2cm tall, and 35.6cm deep. Two parallel 1/4" jack inputs allow series wiring with additional cabinets or switching between 8–ohm mono and 4–ohm stereo operation. The closed–back design emphasises punch and directional throw, contrasting with the ambient dispersion of open–back configurations.
