Mesa Boogie 2x12" Boogie Open Back Cab w/ Black Shadow Speakers

The Mesa Boogie 2x12" Boogie Open Back Cab w/ Black Shadow Speakers is a horizontal cabinet that delivers massive, three-dimensional tone through its vintage open-back design. Constructed from marine-grade Baltic birch plywood in Petaluma, California, this cabinet pairs rear-mounted premium Celestion speakers made specifically for Mesa/Boogie in the UK. The open-back configuration excels across clean tones, blues, and rock styles, delivering surprisingly tight low-end response despite its unsealed design.

The 8-ohm cabinet impedance provides maximum flexibility when matching with Mesa heads including the Recto-Verb, Mark V, JP-2C, Badlander, and Triple Crown series. Each Black Shadow speaker is mounted from the rear to enhance the cabinet's expansive soundstage and responsiveness. The paralleled mono output jack simplifies connectivity while the marine-grade Baltic birch construction ensures durability and tonal integrity. A slip cover is included for transport protection.
