Meinl Sonic Energy Chakra Gong Brow 24" 22123 Hz / A2

The Meinl Sonic Energy Chakra Gong Brow 24" is a handcrafted sound therapy instrument made in Germany and tuned to 221.23 Hz / A2, the precise frequency associated with the Brow Chakra (Ajna) according to Hans Cousto's "Cosmic Octave" calculations. This 60 cm gong features a sandblasted chakra symbol at its centre and a meticulously hand-hammered surface that delivers deep, warm tones designed to activate high consciousness, spirituality, and imagination. The specially treated metal alloy undergoes heating and detailed hammering to achieve its distinctive tonal character, making each gong unique in surface appearance and colouration.

The Brow Chakra frequency of 221.23 Hz corresponds to A4/a' 440 Hz → 442.46 Hz tuning, calculated to stimulate the sixth chakra and promote alert mental states during meditation and sound healing sessions. The gong arrives with a protective cover and gloves for handling, with the manufacturer recommending Meinl Gong Polish (MGP) to maintain the instrument's brilliance over time. Because each piece is hand-hammered at high temperatures, natural variations in the hammering pattern and metal colouration occur, ensuring no two gongs share identical surfaces while guaranteeing authentic German craftsmanship throughout.
