Meinl Snare Cajon Black with Maple Frontplate

The Meinl Percussion Snare Cajon brings authentic cajon sound to musicians seeking versatility without breaking the bank. Crafted from premium Baltic Birch, this Headliner® Series instrument excels in Flamenco and World Music applications, while proving invaluable during unplugged performances where a full drum kit simply isn't practical.

What sets this cajon apart is its impressive adjustability and thoughtful design features. The top corners of the frontplate can be fine-tuned to achieve your preferred amount of 'slap' from those crucial playing areas, while internal strings create that characteristic sizzle effect that can also be adjusted to suit your musical style. An anti-slip sitting surface keeps you securely positioned during performance, and the included allen wrench ensures you can make all necessary adjustments with ease.

This hugely popular percussion instrument offers remarkable flexibility - perfect as a solo instrument, ideal for world music styles, or as a space-saving substitute when traditional drum kits aren't feasible. Key features include adjustable top corners, wide sound options, two internal snare wires, and a stained American White Ash frontplate, all housed in a compact 18″ x 11.75″ x 11.75″ frame that's ready to anchor your rhythm section.
