Meinl Jam Cajon with Almond Birch Frontplate

The Meinl CJ-JC50AB-B Jam Cajon brings authentic European craftsmanship to your acoustic performances with its distinctive almond birch frontplate and compact portability. Built from premium Baltic birch wood, this cajon produces powerful low-end punch when struck near the centre, while the top corners deliver crisp snare drum "slap" tones that cut through any mix.

Dual internal snare wires are strategically positioned against the frontplate’s interior, creating sensitive response and authentic snare sounds that form the perfect rhythmic foundation for acoustic music. The lightweight construction makes it ideal for drum circles and acoustic gigs where portability matters.

Key specifications include compact dimensions of 15″ x 10.5″ x 10.25″, dual internal fixed snare wires, rubber feet for stability, and a rear sound port for enhanced projection. The combination of Baltic birch construction with the almond birch frontplate creates both visual appeal and tonal versatility in one portable percussion instrument.
