Meinl Jam Cajon Heart Ash Frontplate

The Meinl Jam Cajon with Heart Ash Frontplate is a compact, travel-friendly percussion instrument ideal for drum circles, acoustic gigs, and on-the-go playing. Crafted from high-quality Baltic birch wood in Europe, it delivers rich low-end tones from the centre of the frontplate and crisp snare "slap" sounds when striking the upper corners.

Equipped with dual internal fixed snare wires that rest against the frontplate, this cajon provides a responsive snare effect, giving percussionists a versatile palette of sounds for rhythmic accompaniment. The lightweight design makes it easy to transport, while rubber feet and a rear sound port ensure stability and optimal resonance during play.

Perfect for acoustic performances, rehearsals, or casual jam sessions, the Meinl Jam Cajon Heart Ash Frontplate combines portability, quality construction, and expressive tonal options in a single, compact instrument.
