Meinl HCAJ1AWA Headliner String Cajon Black American White Ash Frontplate

The Meinl HCAJ1AWA Headliner Series String Cajon brings authentic percussion power to any acoustic setting where traditional drum kits simply won't fit. This versatile instrument features a striking stained American White Ash frontplate paired with a rubber wood resonating body, creating rich tonal possibilities for solo performances, world music styles, or as a complete drum kit substitute.

Built for customisation, the cajon offers adjustable top corners that let you dial in your preferred slap response, while internal fixed strings provide that characteristic sizzle effect that can be fine-tuned to your playing style. The anti-slip sitting surface keeps you securely positioned during performance, and the included Allen wrench makes all adjustments straightforward and precise.

From intimate unplugged gigs to full band performances, this cajon serves as the rhythmic foundation when space constraints or setup requirements make traditional drums impractical. The wide range of sound options available from this single instrument makes it an invaluable addition to any musician's arsenal, particularly for those exploring world music genres or acoustic arrangements.
